Connie Majors (Witham) Whitaker

Connie Majors (Witham) Whitaker, age 75, of Orland, IN passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at her home.  She was born on March 16, 1944 In LaGrange, IN to John Edward & Donna Belle (Lower) Witham.  She married John Majors in Arkansas.  He preceded her in death on July 3, 2004.  Connie had worked in the Family owned D & J Fish Market in Arkansas.  She previously attended the Methodist Church.  She enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.  She is survived by 2 daughters – Johnetta Henard of Augusta, AR and Linny Bozarth of Hillman, AR.  2 sons – James & Dorothy Majors of Augusta, AR and Tony Majors of Orland, IN.  2 brothers – Nick & Bonnie Witham of LaGrange, IN and Terry & Pamela of Hudson, IN.  3 sisters – Bobbi & Ronnie Alford of Auburn, IN, LeAnn O’Quinn of Kentucky and Paula & Vernon Hochstetler of Topeka, IN.  3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son – Kenneth Majors, 4 sisters – Marsha Stewart, Drema Woods, Donna Dian Witham and Cindy Barrand.  1 brother – John Witham, Jr.  A graveside service will be held on Monday October 7, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Fairfield Cemetery in Corruna, IN with the Pastor Lance Witham officiating.  On-line condolences may be sent at www.carneyfrostfuneralhome.com.  Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN is handling the arrangements.
