Donnie W Pettyjohn

Donnie W. Pettyjohn, age 55, of Howe, IN passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at his home.  He was born on December 9, 1963 in Lynchburg, VA to Lloyd & Nellie (Massie) Pettyjohn.   He married Terri Lynn Moore on December 9, 1994 in Livingston, VA.  She preceded him in death on March 9, 2019.  Donny was currently employed as a forklift driver at Pace in Middlebury, IN.  He was a former lumberjack as well.  He was a member of the Piney River Baptist Church in Piney Creek, VA.  He enjoyed fishing and jazz & country music.  He is survived by 2 daughters – Jenny & Erik Martin of Elkhart, IN and Yvonne Moore & Joshua Coleman of Sturgis, MI.  1 son – Devonte Pettyjohn of Sturgis, MI.  2 brothers – William & Stella Pettyjohn of Virginia and Charles & Susan Pettyjohn of Virginia.  1 sister – Alice & Albert Johnson.  Mother-in-law – Clara Jean Statler.  1 brother-in-law – Randy Moore.  8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother – Lloyd “Juju” Pettyjohn Jr.  2 sisters – Martha Pettyjohn Hudson and Phyllis Pettyjohn.  A private family viewing will be held on Sunday October 20, 2019.  According to his wishes cremation will take place.  On-line condolences may be sent at www.carneyfrostfuneralhome.com.  Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN is handling the arrangements.
