Carla Whitlock, age 72, died Tuesday May 29, 2018 at her residence in Howe, IN.  She was born October 11, 1945 to Otto and Lucy (Wilke) Klinger in Vineland, NJ.  She married Murray Whitlock.  He survives.  She was formerly the office manager at Miller’s Merry Manor and had worked at Prudential as a Medicare claim processor.  She also transported Amish for Crossroads.  She was a former member of the Lagrange County Homemakers extension patchwork patterns.  She enjoyed Knitting, crocheting, Quilt making and doing dainty, detailed sewing.  She was an avid reader, loved church bazaars and was a very giving person.  She is survived by her husband Murray, 2 daughters – Christine & Doug Lanham of Johnson City, TN and Connie & Keith Wilfong of Howe, IN, 2 brothers – John & Elena Sanders of Newfield, NJ and Weldon Saunders of Atlanta, GA.  4 - Grandchildren - Victoria Whitlock, Joshua Kuehner, Quintin and Patrick Lanham, and 1 great grandchild - Wren Whitlock.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Per Carla’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time. Online condolences may be sent at  Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.  Carney- Frost Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Please accept out deepest sympathies to you and your family with the passing of Carla. We will miss her at our get togethers in Citrus Valley. She was always busy with the most intricate projects and loved to share her knowledge with us all. She will be missed.
