Betty (Grubb) Ford

Betty Ford, age 80, of LaGrange, IN passed away on March 9, 2019 at the Indiana University Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.  She was born on October 11, 1938 in Stueben County, Indiana to John &  Roberta (Crowell) Grubb.  She married Darrel Ford on December 15, 1960 in Howe, IN.  He preceded her in death on August 12, 1998.  Betty was previous employed as a sewer at Mastercraft in LaGrange, IN until she retired.  She had also worked part time at Multiplex in Howe, IN as a security Guard.  She had attended the Howe United Methodist Church.  She is survived by 2 daughters – Maleasa Ford and Pamela Colwell both of Sturgis, MI.  1 brother – Larry & Trish Grubb of Howe, IN.  2 sisters - Arlene & Roger Wolf of Constantine, MI and Barbra & Richard Strong of Sturgis, MI.  5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  According to her wishes cremation will take place.  The family will receive friends on Friday March 29, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m.  at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.  A memorial service will be held on Friday March 29, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.  On-line condolences may be sent at www.carneyfrostfuneralhome.com.  Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN is handling the arrangements.
