Lois J (Mason) Norris

Lois J. Norris, age 91, of LaGrange, IN passed away on Wednesday August 28, 2019 at her home.  She was born on August 2, 1928 in Fort Wayne, IN to Harley & Rebecca (Whiting) Mason.  She married Milburn Norris on February 2, 1975 in LaGrange, IN.  H preceded her in death on March 17, 2012.  Lois was a bus driver for the Lakeland and Westview School Corporation for many years.  She spent the rest of her time being a homemaker.  She was a member of the K of P Lodge # 144 in LaGrange, IN and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Shipshewana, IN.  She is survived by; 1 daughter – Becky (Bret) Brown of Hamilton, IN.  1 son – Jerry (Christine) Lantz of Bowling Green, KY.  5 grandchildren - Clarissa (Mike) Shaffer of Butler, IN, Ryan (Tori) Cline of Butler, IN, Dakota Brown of Hamilton, IN, Pat (Mia) McDonald of Syracuse, IN, Gary (Tuyen) McDonald of Albion, IN.  10 great-grandchildren – Chase, Lane, Trista, Lilli, Cutter, Pierce, Brieanna, Khloe, Christian and Christina.  Special caregiver – Kay Wilkinson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 daughters – Kathryn Lantz and Linda Jones.  1 son-in-law – Danny Jones.  1 sister – Kathryn Kanouse.  2 brothers – George Mason and Walter Mason.  1 grandson – Brandon Brown.  Viewing will be held on Saturday August 31, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, Shipshewana, IN.  The funeral service will follow at the church at 1 p.m. with the Pastor Francis Warren officiating.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, IN.  Memorials may be given to the Cancer Society.  On-line condolences may be sent at www.carneyfrostfuneralhome.com.  Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN is handling the arrangements.
