Paula F (Porter) Giles

Paula F. Giles, age 53, of LaGrange, IN, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Goshen Hospital surrounded by her family.  She was born January 31, 1966 in Elkhart, IN to Bobby Vance and Georgiana (Porter) Justice. She married Greg Giles on February 11, 1997 in Indianapolis, IN.  She worked as a seamstress at Ameritex, and loved sewing. She enjoyed kayaking, gardening, and boating. At her children’s sporting events, she was the active “soccer mom,” and she never met a stranger. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.  Along with her parents and husband she is survived by her six children: Justin (Jennifer) Gose of Avon, IN; Tia Perry of Ferndale, MI; Vance Giles of LaGrange, IN; Devin (Desteney Barker) Giles of Kendallville, IN; Benjamin Giles of LaGrange, IN; Sarah Giles of LaGrange, IN. She is survived by her brother and four sisters: Larry (Catherine) Garber of Howe, IN; Angela VanBuren of Huntertown, IN; Sabrina Porter of Three Rivers, MI; Michelle Vilmur of Elkhart, IN; Heather Siebert of Swansboro, NC. She had six grandchildren.  According to her wishes, cremation will take place.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
